Gwyneth Paltrow’s weekly newsletter, GOOP, is a “big success” according to Paltrow. The actress says, “It’s crazy…crazy! I just love it. Corporate America is knocking at my door…’Will you hawk my product?’”

Her personal project, which comes from her initials G.P. is all about being clean. “It started in such an organic way. People ask me, ‘What is it? What are you doing?’ And I don’t know. I did it, am doing it…and love doing it.”

And another huge plus about it? It’s free! Continuing to dish, the “Shakespeare In Love” actress says, “People are so grateful that it’s free. It’s just nice to share what you have. And I have all this great information.”

And as far as other projects right now, Paltrow wants to stick to what she loves. “People want me to do all this other stuff. But right now, I just really love doing the site. I love thinking about the letters, what I’m going to write about, what kind of information we can put in there.”

Just how much money could she raise for her charity? “We’ll do something and give it all back,” she told. The site does have two major rules. “No bribes. Also, I won’t say anything negative. If I eat somewhere or stay somewhere and it’s horrible, I won’t talk about it.”

And although she is writing on green and clean loving, living and cooking, she is also board member of Robin Hood – which is an organization in part founded by the late John F. Kennedy Jr., raising money from successful New Yorkers and donating to causes like Children of the City.

“They’re really changing lives for kids in New York City at the poverty level or below. They do amazing work. I’m from New York, so anytime I get approached to help in a great organization, I can never say no.”

Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow, the director of “Knocked Up,” are still surprised over Katherine Heigl’s performance in the hit movie.

In Vanity Fair back in 2007, the actress made a quote about the movie claiming it “paints the women as shrews” while men look “lovable.”

She continued, “It was hard for me to love the movie.” (She later said she was disheartened her remarks became the focus of my experience with the movie).

However, Rogen doesn’t think her new movie, “The Ugly Truth,” makes women look good either. “The [movie] looks like it really puts a women on a pedestal in a beautiful way,” he joked on Howard Stern’s show.

Continuing on, he says, “I hear there’s a scene where she’s wearing…Underwear…with a vibrator in it, so I’d have to see if that was uplifting for women.”

He also assumed Heigl was “probably was doing six hours of interviews and kissing everyone’s a**, and then just got tired and slipped a little bit when she made the remarks to Vanity Fair.” But he adds, “I didn’t slip and I was doing f****** interviews all day too…I didn’t say s***!”

And something we didn’t know was that the two never fought. “We never had a ‘fight’. Seth always says, it doesn’t make any sense [because] she improvised half her s***.” He also thought that she ‘could not have been cooler.’”

Since the remark the two have not spoken, and Rogen says he isn’t trying to cause any drama.

“It all depends on how much coffee I have had that day,” he said. “If I was fighting … with someone else about something I may handle it wrong, and if I’m in like total Buddha mood, I’d be like ‘I feel sad that she hasn’t learned the lesson of her journey yet,’” he said.

Rogen also was surprised there was no apology intact after the quote was made. “[You think] at some point I’ll g et a call saying ‘Sorry, I was tired…’ and then the call never comes.”

Meanwhile, there’s also rumors that Rogen was not the first costar she has had tension with. “I gotta say it’s not like we’re the only people she said some bat **** crazy things about,” he said. “That’s kind of her bag now.”

Tending to her all-important business matters, Rihanna was looking colorful as she arrived for a business meeting in New York City on Thursday (July 30).

The “Umbrella” songstress was dropped off by a chauffeured ride for the day’s duties, strutting past paparazzi while chewing on a red straw along the way.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, recent reports from MTV claim that Rihanna is “in shock” after ex-beau Chris Brown decided to make an online video apology.

A friend of the singer says that Brown’s choice to make a public apology for forgiveness of the assault that took place back in February was selfish and hurtful. “She’s in total shock,” explained the friend. “It was like he gave her another blow, albeit one of a different kind.”

Rihanna had been keeping the situation very private and out of the public. “All she knows it that it’s in the news again and that’s the one thing she didn’t want,” continued the source. “She’s been trying to put it behind her and move on as fast as possible. They spoke earlier last week and Chris made no mention of any public statement then.”

Making for quite the tandem, Bette Midler co-hosted alongside Kelly Ripa on the “Live! With Regis and Kelly” show on Thursday (July 30).

The two women chatted it up with comedian Adam Sandler, with Miss Midler looking classy in a black dress and red cardigan.

During the course of their time together on-set, the hosts were able to watch unusual talents as they continued Top Dog Week.

Then making their way outside, Ripa and Middler intently watched on as a chef cooked a delicious grilled dish for the “Ultimate Hometown Grill Off.”

Having just arrived to the Big Apple fresh from the hospital, Mischa Barton was spotted on the set of her upcoming TV show “The Beautiful Life” in Manhattan on Thursday (July 30).

Looking to be in high spirits, the former “OC” star walked along with her two canine companions as she geared up to start work on the new CW show which premieres in September.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Mischa was recently discharged from Cedars Sinai Medical Center after being in an “involuntary psychiatric hold”.

While the decision to jump straight into filming following her mental health meltdown has some friends worried, another source feels different and thinks it’s best for her to continue a normal life. “She’s obviously feeling better if she’s back to work. She’s excited to be a part of the show, and she’s very focused on it.”

Reports have been flying around that Kate Gosselin has purchased or is planning on purchasing a condo in Rockville Md., but a source says that Kate is absolutely not making a move that would put her far away from her children.

“She is not buying or renting in the area. Kate was having lunch there, and after spending a total of one hour in a restaurant that has condos for sale about it, a rumor began that somehow, suddenly, she was buying a condo there. She didn’t even know there were apartments for sale there. It’s totally false.”

No records have popped up of any purchases made by Gosselin and a sales representative of the condos has said she has never even seen the TLC star.

Gosselin and her husband Jon, who recently divorced, have agreed to alternate in and out of the home that they once shared so their kids can stay at their own house.

Jon has already moved into a NYC bachelor pad, while Kate is deciding where to settle when she has to go away from her family.

“One thing is certain,” says a friend of Kate. “Kate absolutely will not live far from her family, ever. Period. She would never choose to be so far from home.”

Making her way out for a promotional appearance, Ali Lohan joined mother Dina and brother Cody for the Blackberry Brick Breaker contest announcement at the Z-Com wireless store in New York City on Thursday (July 30).

Having a marvelous time, the Lohan family happily posed for pictures before Ali and Cody teamed up to man the turntables during the day’s festivities.

Also on hand for the contest announcement event was reality star/singer Brooke Hogan, who is fresh off of last week’s release of her second studio album, “The Redemption”.

Only in the Big Apple for a short time, Miss Hogan will be jetting back down south to sunny Florida, as she’s booked to appear at Mansion Night Club in South Beach for an album release party tomorrow night.

If there’s one thing “Twilight” fans love, it’s Robert Pattinson – and Nikki Reed knows why.

“Rob is sort of feminine looking and I think young girls like boys that look like women,” said Reed, who plays vampire Rosalie Hale, adding that she’s positive no one will ever replace Edward Cullen.

Meanwhile, while Lefevre is being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse, Reed says she hasn’t “talked to [Lefevere] yet. I don’t know anything about it other than a schedule conflict.”

Summit Entertainment has defended their choice on letting her go and using Howard instead due to commitment issues and schedule conflicts.

“New Moon,” the second film in the four part series, makes its way into theaters on November 20th.

I KNEW IT! I mother-effing knew it! Early Wednesday we learned that Summit Entertainment announced that actress Rachelle Lefevre has been replaced by actress Bryce Dallas Howard in the role of evil vampire Victoria for the third Twilight movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Summit explained that Rachelle was not able to fulfill the role of Victoria in Eclipse due to “scheduling conflicts” so they instead decided to hire Bryce in her place. At the time we heard the news, I KNEW that the “scheduling conflict” explanation was bullshit … and it turns out that I was right. Lefevre has issued an official statement on her firing and explains, in her words, how “stunned” and “saddened” she was to learn that she was fired from the role she originated. Here is the full text of her official statement:

“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse. I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to Barney’s Version is only 10 days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse. Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those 10 days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10-day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part. I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the Twilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best.”

I SOOOOO knew it. Scheduling conflicts my ASS! There’s no way Summit couldn’t make the 10 days she would spend on the other film not work into the Eclipse shooting schedule. Summit must’ve LEAPED at the chance to hire Bryce Dallas Howard in her place because of who she is. It’s pretty damn gross that they would be so blatant about it. I feel so bad for Rachelle Lefevre because she really was great in the role of Victoria. Eclipse would’ve been her time to shine as Victoria’s role is more pronounced in that installment. Damn … the other Twilight actors better watch their backs. Who knows who else might get the axe should Summit Entertainment decide to replace them for a bigger name actor.

UPDATE: Summit Entertainment has issued their own official statement in response to Lefevre’s statement, here it is in full:

“We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. Her decision to discuss her version of the scheduling challenges publicly has forced the Studio to set the record straight and correct the facts. Ms. Lefevre’s representatives were advised as early as April that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE was expected to start shooting in early August. If Ms. Lefevre was, as she describes “passionate,” about being part of THE TWILIGHT SAGA, we feel that she and her representatives would have included us in her decision to work on another film that would conflict with the shooting schedule of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. It was not until July 20th that Summit was first informed of Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to BARNEY’S VERSION, a commitment we have since been advised she accepted in early June. Summit had acted in good faith that she would be available to fulfill her obligations both in terms of rehearsals and shooting availability for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. We feel that her choice to withhold her scheduling conflict information from us can be viewed as a lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production. Furthermore Ms. Lefevre took a role in the other film that places her in Europe during the required rehearsal time, and at least ten days of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE’s principal photography. This period is essential for both rehearsal time with the cast, and for filming at key locations that are only available during the initial part of production. Contrary to Ms. Lefevre’s statement, it is simply untrue that the Studio dismissed her over a ten day overlap. It is not about a ten day overlap, but instead about the fact that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is an ensemble production that has to accommodate the schedules of numerous actors while respecting the established creative vision of the filmmaker and most importantly the story. The fact remains that Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to the other project – which she chose to withhold from Summit until the last possible moment – makes her unfortunately unavailable to perform the role of Victoria in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.” –Summit Entertainment

Oh snap … the studio doesn’t seem too happy at Rachelle’s comments on her firing but, to be honest, I still believe her. It’s way too convenient that Rachelle gets the boot and Summit gets the benefit of Bryce Dallas Howard stepping in to fill the role. And the fact that they kept the casting change a secret until after Rachelle did her duty and appeared at 2009 San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend is totally dubious. I still call bullshit on Summit’s shady dealings with their actors. Again I warn the Twilight cast, watch yer backs.

Taylor Momsen, who stars as Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl and apparently fronts a rock band called Pretty Reckless, played a show with her bandmates at the Hiro Ballroom in NYC, NY last night in celebration of her super sweet 16th birthday. Here are a few snaps of Little J, er, I mean Taylor Moms rockin’ out in NYC last night:

I never knew that Taylor Momsen had any musical talent to speak of … and by the Courtney Loveness of the way she looked on stage last night, I’d say the jury is still out on her talents. But, she’s young, rich, famous and on a hit TV series … if she wants to play in a band, then she gets to play in a band. I understand that a few of Taylor’s GG co-stars came out for last night’s gig … including Chace Crawford, Jessica Szhor, Ed Westwick and Michelle Trachtenberg. It looks like it was a fun event … still, I’m not all that convinced that Taylor has the chops to be a rock star. She does have the cracked out look down, tho.
